I had a 2018 Cement Sport before this. Absolutely loved it, but couldn't pass up getting Lunar Rock (or what I like to call Baby Yoda color) with leather and sunroof. :)

Two things I wish I would have known prior:
1 - with the Advanced Technology package you lose storage space behind the back seat because of the JBL sub woofer. I used to store tons of things behind the seat in 2018.
2 - They removed the bigger storage box in the truck bed.

Losing storage is my only complaint.

For some reason, 2022 trd sport lunar rock, the color looks so different from the color of 2021 lunar rock trd pro. Are they the exact same lunar rock???

Yes it’s the same color. I think the same thing every time I see a lunar rock RAV4, they always look darker to me but when I park next to one they look the same. It’s the beauty of the color; that it looks different depending on lighting/angles.

The 22 trd sport might look different to you because of the paint matched bumper valance and fender flares. Just more lunar rock hitting you all at once :notsure:

I've been debating whether ordering an Off-Road Lunar Rock (have to get the full premium package in Canada to get this color), or super white base Off-Road (only 4 colors available).

There's a Rav4 Trail in my neighborhood in LR and I go check it out in many different lighting scenarios throughout the week to see how it looks. In pictures it looks very seafoam green, but in person it looks way darker and more of a Cement Gray/Green. I feel like the pictures dont depict it well.

But you know you love the JBL sound and sub hitting back there. What bigger storage box? On left side?

The "North Carolina" decal really looks good on the LR, the black contrast with this color really makes it pop. It's the same with cement and quicksand.

Yeah the one they used to have on the left side in my 2018 didnt make it to 2022. I used to store my tie downs in there and behind the seat. But you are right the JBL sound is worth it.

I was relieved to see this as dealing with the dealerships here in Vegas has been annoying. But just a heads up to anyone who reaches out to this dealership, apparently things have changed.

I tried to work a deal with a salesperson named Christina (over the phone) for a TRD Off-road. She had one coming in January that I was going to place a $500 Non-refundable (something she stressed a couple of times) deposit on. All was well and good until she asked for my address. She then I told me they were no longer selling to anyone who wasn’t a Colorado resident and planning to register the vehicle in Colorado. I asked her why, she gave no real answer and said they just weren’t and then wished me luck in my search. It was a very weird interaction honestly. :notsure:

So now I’m reaching out to a couple of Utah dealers :playball:

LR is really starting to grow on me. If my QS Tacoma were to ever get totaled I'd be looking to replace it with LR.

The only Utah dealer that didn't try to charge me a "Market Value" surcharge was Mark Miller Toyota, in Salt Lake.

I worked with Gattis. If he's still around, he was really easy to work with.

That rack is awesome. Wish they were still making them. That would be perfect for the bikes and canoe.
