I have the Husky's on a Gen II... for our year, the fronts are about 1.5" shorter and that is a good thing. Any curb or such is known to damage OEM Gen II fronts.
I replaced mine week one on my 2014 and have not looked back. I'm certain the WT would be fine also.
    Good luck.

Not enough bandwidth on the internet to list.
He mentioned they weren't on the factory package sticker so in the long run, he saved money.

I sure wish I had them on mine. First week of ownership, my wife was driving home in the Taco and picked up a flanged bolt off the freeway. It punctured the front right tire (leaving an indelible imprint in the tread), then spit out and hit the lower section of the thick undercoat style paint protected section of the passenger door. It chipped the paint about 1/2" long oblong form. I bought the touch up and fortunately with that thick orange-peely protective finish, it blended quite nicely after a couple coats. I have little doubt a flap would have prevented that and California roads are just a constant shitmess. Flaps are welcomed.

I'm buying the Weathertechs now. Have there floormats front & back and a few other interior products for my rear doors so my Labrador doesn't booger up the panels when he slobbering while looking out the window.

I trimmed my OEM ones up, too many gravel range roads to take them off completely, but hate the iceberg build up in the winter and dragging on everything of stock height..

    Hello,

Can anyone comment on the preference and quality of the Tacoma Lifestyle, Tufskinz, and RekGen Mud Flaps?

Seems the prices are within $60ish to $110 for the three with Tacoma Lifestyle being the cheapest and RekGens the most expensive.

    Thanks

I’ve had the huskys for many years now. They are better than stockers and provide decent protection from rocks and prevent mud from instantly covering the sides of the truck at the slightest instance of mud. The stock fronts get ripped off super easy

Are the Husky’s flexible? I had them on a F150 about 6 years ago and they were rigid.

I have the stock ones and never go offroad. They work fine for that purpose so far

I too am looking to replace the stock flappers with either rekgen or rokblokz. Question I have relates to how much "stuff" collects within the gap between the mudflap and the wheel well?

Had factory flaps, replaced with weathertechs as they are more square with better coverage.

The misses got me a set of OEM mud flaps last Christmas. Got them from an online Toyota dealership and paid something like 60 bucks door-to-door.
Super easy to install and have not had a single issue with them. No complaints. I have a black truck, so they sort of blend right in.

I wouldn’t call them flexible but you can bend them without damage

Stock wheels and suspension. Random "utilitarian" mods featured on this great forum.
I got the A-Premium flavor of cheap Amazon Chinesium OEM reproduction flaps and they look nothing like the the OEM in terms of plastic color/finish. For the price, I knew what I was getting into but don't want OP thinking Amazon ones match OEM look/feel.

I have had the Tufskinz on my truck since July, and no problems. They are way more flexible than the oem flaps, and have held up well. Definitely the way to go if you are wanting that vintage look. They were $60 for all four, and made to order.

Took the OEM flaps off the first week and replaced with Rokblokz XLs. Night and day difference. I drive gravel about 50% of the time and the Rokblokz helped big time with gravwl flying. I put them on my 4Runner as well.
