Like everyone else has said 5100 at 2” and AAL 1.5” for a budget lift. That’s what I did.

Also you want your wheels to sit anywhere from 0 to -10 offset. It’s the sweet spot for 285s. You’re on stock OR rims which are +25 offset. I went with spidertraxx 1.25” spacers (hub and wheel centric) until I get new wheels. That will give you -6 offset. It will also give you enough room between the tire and UCA so you won’t have to replace them. Then trimming and pushing the front fender liner forward and reattach them.

I didn’t need a cab mount chop but every truck is different.

Good choice! Depending on the level of your off road use, there are hundreds of options.
5100’s are more than capable for weekend warriors doing mild off-roading.
If you’re doing long days of off-reading trips, where the suspension cycles for long periods of time than I would consider upgrading to C/O’s.
As for UCAs? The main issue when lifting a truck is loss of Camber in your stance. Tire will sit \-/ when looking at them from the front.
I personally like SPC UCAs because they allow an incredible amount of customized adjustments for an exceptional value.
SPC is a very large manufacture of suspension components, they have excellent customer service.
It’s really hard to beat SPC when it comes to value per dollar.

if you trim the front lower bumper, and move the liner forward it will give you more than enough clearance for 33” tires.
I did mine and I gained approximately 3” of additional clearance. More than enough for 33” tires.

is your Caster set high? Does you pinch welds or cab mount rub while turning in Reverse?

the stock UCAs and since you’re running stock rims? Are you running wheel spacers?

these are some factors you need to consider.

any way, check out the links in my Sig. it a good starting point to understanding the dynamics that is involved when lifting these trucks. Hundreds of factors that play a role in everyone’s set up. No 2 trucks will be exactly the same.

    good luck!

I'll be going a similar route but getting either OME/Dobinson's shocks. Both brands plus Bilsteins are great quality, long lasting, and very affordable.

Include preload spacer vs strut spacer in your research as well ;-)

Thanks everyone for all the great tips, I most defit. opened up a can of worms going to 33's before a lift but I kinda wanted a excuse to get a lift lol. I'm planning on doing some weekend warrior wheeling and camping, plus I usually go snowboarding and I want to make sure there is no rubbing before I start to head up to the mountains. For now I think I'm going with the Icon Stage 2 with add a leaf setup and also going to grab SPC UCA at some point and I also have sway bar adjustment brackets coming as well. I'm going to a viper cut in the front for a bit more clearance plus at some point I'll add some armor for the front and rock sliders. I'll add some updates as soon I get some of these objectives completed.

It has begun, I went with the Bilstein 6112 and 5160 in the rear and going to add Icon Billet sway bar relocation kit and some wheel spacers. Hopefully all this is going to be done by this Saturday.

Good choice OP. NOT that other brands are good as long as we all are stoked on our set ups is all that matters.

I got the 6112''s and the sway bar relocation kit from shock Surplus and the 5160's from Realtruck website and they both came same week which is nice. I wouldn't remove my sway bar, I drive too fast lol but relocation kits are kind of must because your UCA's can rub against your coils and cause a lot of damage.

Too be honest I'm not sure what you mean I'm totally new to all this but I had them set the circlip at #5 and #6 location bc my truck is a double cab V6 and told them I plan to add a rooftop tent in the near future and they said the circlip location would be good for my setup.

600lb coils are for stock weight. 650’s are for if you plan on adding weight up front bumper etc.. You probably got 600lb if you didn’t specify in order. Coils will settle a little as well. If your getting a RTT IMO I would look into a leaf pack for rear Icon Rxt or Deaver etc.

So people really don’t tell you that when you lift your truck that if it isn’t leveled you’ll have vibrations in the drive shaft. I bought a lower and front diff drop kit hoping this will fix the issue if not looks like I’ll be replacing the needle bearing.
