One thing to note with the Tundra rack is you may loose some turning radius since they have a shorter throw than the stock rack. but they are beefy as hell... and can be a pain to install as well since you have to remove the stock mounts and weld in new mount barrels to your crossmember.

I need to find some nice DIY fender liners now though. That gap in the fender where the styrofoam used to be looks wonky and dont want to clean out all the mud/dirt that will find its way in there...

If I make the jump to 35's I'll do the jd fab lower pivot's to move the wheel forward. Guys have been able to get away with hammered pinch welds at the back of the fender. It moves your problem area's to the front but allows you to not tub the firewall

I mainly want the pivot kit for the subframe strength and the skid plate strength. My steel skids are bent beyond belief, and forming around the shape of the diff lol. Thats the one nice thing about the full support structure, you can run a 3/16" aluminum skid and have it be stronger than the normal 3/16-1/4 piece of plate that isn't supported very well. The extra firewall clearence with the kit is a bonus

Can’t look wonky if it’s not there. I went down the baby it in route then realized it’s inevitable they gotta go. You can get them clear for 98% of the time but soon as your going down hill around a corner and hit a dip or water bar it will tear them out. I barely rub the top of my gutted wheel well with 34’s at full bump.

I looked at the pivot subframe and it looks like a good solution but I pushed my LCAs completely forward and it helped me clear the rear of the fender and now I'm rubbing on this corner in the picture. I'd have to tub that section as well. JD Fab sells a replacement inner fender that eliminates that too but I don't want to spend like 3k just to not have rub at full stuff...that's halfway to a LT kit lol.

I'm most likely going to lengthen my bumpstops by maybe 1/3" inch to barely limit the uptravel.

I just dont want to shred these tires just yet. I have some good slices cut into my old 33s from the pinch weld on my first wheeling trip with them lol.

7860E7DF-4343-4D41-89BD-45801425967B.jpg It’s just barely rubbing. It’s not a sharp edge so it stays for now. Takes a pretty fast down hill turn to stuff it up in there

Seems like tubbing the front is pretty common once you get to 35's and above.

Only people I've seen here really tub the fronts are those running 37s. I'm basically good once I lengthen my bumpstop a bit. I still need to do some seam sealing and make a new fenderwell liner now too. Don't want to run a dorkel.

    Nah just do it!

I was tempted, but my wife might divorce me lol. Doing most of the work at my buddy's house and tubbing isn't exactly a 1 day, or 1 week project lol. If I ever run 37s I'll definitely tub though.
