slapped these bad boys on today.
so i bought these used and did not adjust the front coils at all. the previous owner had these and was running 35s on these settings.
i have stock leaves and a 1" block in the rear. i also just added the RTT and now the rear is sagging. RTT will stay mounted for awhile.
def need to upgrade a rear leaf pack. hoping someone can recommend some good options.
alignment after install was good. max'd out the caster as best i could, camber and toes it good!
when driving over speed bumps at low/mod speed 5-10mph, the front feels as it just drops hard. is this normal for this type of set up?

i am hoping someone can chime in and advise me or how to fix my concerns. TIA

Yeah it's definitely less "the rear is saggy" and more "the front is way too high"

    That's awesome, well done.

I have a pop n lock paired with Chris's ATD for my gate. I recently saw someone tried to get at my tailgate. They broke the handle but it's still working funny enough. :D

The estimate seems to be on the high side. If you have no other choice and like their work, so be it.

With YouTube these days can you do some of the work yourself?

Sliders need to be cut from frame then welded back on . Same with rocker panels . Doors and bed need to come off . No way I’m attempting that

Finally removing the differential drop spacers... been on for 14 years with zero issues but it's time... getting a Icon stage 8 installed next week. Toyota wanted $25.44 for the two oem bolts/nuts... went to the hardware store and got the same grade nuts/bolts for $3.50.

Like you, I had zero mechanical skills and to left thumb. Plus nowhere to work on anything, no tools.

I got sick of paying high repairs bills, to get half ass work done. So I learned off people I know, then went to a automotive trade school. I didn't learn much about auto repairing but I got determined/ambition to learn. I then worked at Toyota, then a German car dealership.

Preload could be the issue. I would also check the weight rating of the spring. If he had steel bumpers and alot of weight up front and you have nothing then it would def describe the symptoms you are. Since you've got no weight up there you probably want to look into a #600lb spring. Id double check it, should be on the side of the coil.

Had The same thing happening with my kings, your preload is way overdone! i did the same thing when i first installed my kings, i had way to much preload on them, it really limits the downtravel (that's why you feel the hard drop off bumps!) i am now running 3/4 of an inch of preload on the front, it improved the ride quality and help level you out!

For rear springs, i'd recommend the All-pro expedition leaf pack! been running it for 15k miles now its quite rides amazing on all terrain and i couldn't be happier! not to mention only $600!
