The logic behind how there's even registration fees on a vehicle that isn't being driven, I'll never understand. Think you can destroy them by doing a double title transfer, but then you have to pay the titling fees.

California for ya. I don’t even want to imagine what it’s gonna take to get the 300zx on the road (other than ya know, getting the engine to work lol)

Hasn’t been on the road since 2009, at least I’ve got all the paperwork

Amazing that thing is still going. You’d be even more surprised if you saw the state of the interior when I first picked it up.

Isn't it like 15-20 years that some exceptions are made and backfees fall off?

Donate it to me and I'll find out the fees

so does anyone know if there are passive underseat subs? this little amp can manage 50w x2 for the door speakers and 200w for a sub. i'd rather have only one wire coming in for an amp instead of 2 amps.

Not hard to build one with one of the low profile woofers. Just need to build a box.

I think there might be premade ones as well.

Aha, focal makes one that might work. need to measure under the seat. 5" tall this one. 4 ohm 150w RMS. so fit decent for the amp i have.

Thinking I need to get Superflex coils.

My rig was really sagging in the back with all the extra weight, camping.

Even now without the extra weight, it just sits near level -

    20211201_171756.jpg

16.7" free standing height OME890 vs 19.5" free standing height Superflex, you know where I'm going. Plus they're progressive so I won't lose that nice, soft feel.
