I think the problem with these covid variants is that the vaccines are not working so great. I have a one friend that has been in the hospital/nursing home since oct 2020. He was not able to get the vaccine because it was not available yet. Now I have 2 friends that just last week got covid and one is on a ventilator and the other has double pheumonia and is getting oxygen. Both were vaccinated and one also got the booster. I think that this is going to get worse.

 

There sure is a lot of anecdotal evidence going around
