An interesting unintended consequence, of having to dance around the politics has made for a more civil discussion.
I’m never a fan of censorship or censoring ones own opinions and feelings, but in a roundabout way, that’s what we all USED to do.

I don’t know where we’re going to end up as a country, but I’ve decided to focus on little things like this to give me hope.

hell, I used to have beers outside of Yankee stadium in the Bronx with Boston fans (who were also too poor to get into the playoff game) way back when the Yankees were good, and it never came to fists. We had spirited arguments and then bought each other’s beers.

TLDR: used to have beers with Red Sox fans at the height of the rivalry and never got into a fist fight. Let’s get back to those days! Haha.
