I feel for you. Sold my 2019 cement SR5 early as well. Was supposed to take delivery 11/22-11/29. Still no word where the truck is other than somewhere in this universe. Hang in there.

Put in my order for a 22 Trail Edition in Army Green on Nov 13th. Salesman told me it will likely be 10-12 weeks. Just sold my Silverado, so who knows how long I'll be without a vehicle haha. Luckily I work at a dealership and have something to drive.

I'm on week 11 waiting for an optioned out sport. It's amazing how limited the choices are in New England while the southeast has 6 of the exact truck I want. Of course in Florida they are 5k market adjusted...and I didn't know the 4x4 were in such demand in the flattest state.

I’m not in any hurry personally. I always have a 4Runner around as a “backup vehicle”, and it has turned out to mostly be my primary vehicle since I bought it in 2008. They are just really well made trucks. I’ve had 5 different Toyota 120 platform vehicles and have had zero problems on any. So I’ll wait patiently and enjoy some extra time behind the wheel of one of the great SUV’s ever made. :)

I’m in Maine and I’ve asked multiple Toyota dealerships if they can order a vehicle for me and they all say no, they get what they get and they’ll call me if they get an allocation of what I’m looking for (TRD Off Road Army Green)

From what I gather that is true. The way I understand it is dealers in 5 states here go through Southeast Toyota Distribution. Southeast Toyota is given so many cars that are allocated for 5 states and dealers in those 5 states pick the vehicles they want. In my case the dealer found a vehicle that matched almost everything I was looking for and called me. He said he had allocated it whether I wanted it or not. When I told him I’ll take it he just moved my deposit over to the truck when it came in to keep it from being sold. He said when it came in I could still walk away and he’d give my deposit back but that isn’t happening.

Rackumrack is spot on. The dealers you spoke with are honest with you.

I'm using the Toyota dealer near my house, who coincidentally has a dealership in Saco Maine, (prime Toyota). The dealerships I guess do swaps, you might wanna call them, cause my dealer was able to "allocate" me what I wanted.

Anyone have any idea if the blackout package still includes black wheels with the overlays and exhaust tip?

I absolutely abhor the machined wheels on the TRDOR and requested a blackout package on my Army Green. The package on my wife's 2021 4R Venture included black wheels.

If its just the emblem overlays now (I can't seem to find any definite info.), I might just have the dealer cancel the blackout and order the overlays myself. I know I can call my dealer, but I figured I'd ask y'all first.

Thanks! I opted for the trail rail with my truck. Sarah's Venture had the predator steps and she decided to trade them out for a regular step bar.

I always wondered about the package names in different places. Here it is just the Blackout Package, nothing special..

I have a cousin in PA with an "Appalachian Edition" Silverado. I cannot find any significant difference from a "Texas Edition" here, but different badging.

Thanks guys. Just slightly questioning the ad for the package on Toyota's "Build your Tacoma" website. If you look at the picture, their advertised "Blackout Package" is not the same as the Predator. It is only a $400 package and doesn't include the wheels.

I guess I'll be calling the Dealer.

I thought so too, but I was told by our dealer the blackout package included wheels (it definitely did on my wife's 2021 4R) so I figured I'd ask the group if they knew.
