Terrible Cat Noise

    I believe so! I’m going to replace the cat heat shield (I thought this was just part of the cat) and clamps on both sides and see how that does

    You just may need new clamps.

    I'd vote test pipe, but I hate the smell of raw exhaust. Unless it's an older diesel.

    Start with the clamps, as said. One thing I would do would be to wrap the exhaust with exhaust wrap. Might not fix the noise if it's internal, but at least you won't have to hear it.

    Clamps were definitely shot, (probably could have held off on replacing the cat heat shield) but with new clamps and heat shield the noise is gone! I do still have that weird random squeak noise coming the cat it’s self, but that’s been there since I got the truck and hasn’t given me any noticeable issues, may just have to live with that one.

    I appreciate everyone’s input, and plan to stick around for quite some time!
