Do all Tacomas come with the electronics for keyless entry? What do I need to buy for this feature to work?

I have no power anything. I have to manually lock my doors and manually roll my windows up/down with the old fashioned crank.

if your truck is equipped with keyless entry, you'll have the control unit either under the drivers seat or behind the kickpanel at the driver floorboard if im not mistaken

you can buy the rs3200 or whatnot controller and wiring harness from the dealer but they want like 300 and change for them and then they want to charge you 300+ to install it too...and wont sell you the parts without the labor

imho, if you don't have the factory ones installed go to a reputable alarm/car audio shop to install an alarm with lock actuators. That way you will also get security. the stock keyless entry is just that, opening your doors without the key. No alarm involved.

I do car audio and security for a living in NC. A aftermarket keyless (Viper) will only run you about $150, if you have power door locks. If you did not have power door locks we add those for about $75 per door. If you wanted security as well start about $200 and go up. Way under factory prices. We can also add power windows not sure on the cost.

Got a friend near Hickory that could do it for you. He is in the Granite Falls area. Also know a shop owner in Hickory.
