This weekend I took out my drawer system and all my camping gear so we could get a Christmas tree and then last night I took off the RTT for the season. Sad that camping season is over up here for the most part. I might get out once or twice more before spring. Plus side though my truck actually has some rake now with all the extra weight out of there.

Completed an oil change and lube job on my lunch hour at the base auto hobby shop $6 an hour to use their lifts, tools and equipment. Good to go until April/May - frame has been prepped for the winter using Cosmoline black

Fully agree - they have full alignment rack, paint stall, 9 full bays with drive on lifts, ASE certified mechanics onsite to assist if needed etc.

Thankful for the benefits of 22 years active duty, been retired 20 years, and working as a contractor for the past 10 years

Put a set of DD sports in. Going from the non fog sr5 to this is an upgrade. Have to figure out the aiming when it gets dark enough. 13C0D6E2-25C0-4704-B21B-99FB8B0AB898.jpg

Sounds to me like he paid for 32 years and counting so I’d hope they give him a deal. He earned it!

Bought a 29” ARE DCU cap in hopes of hitting the road for a month or two with my girlfriend and dog when our apartment lease is up at the end of March or beginning of April. Needs quite a bit of work before then to be able to live out of it for that long. Gonna attempt to make some bed stiffeners this weekend. The research begins

I tapped into the tail light harness, seems to be fine. Didn’t want to run a separate relay

New Spectre fuel and water cans arrived today. Fit perfectly in the frame/mount Travis of SOB Fabrication (Ruidoso NM) built me for my swing outs

Man - I would kill (figuratively) for a auto hobby shop near me. Sounds like a great place for some DIY projects.

I doubt they are cheaper but they are better than oem. I'll post a link from Amazon. You can probably find them cheaper somewhere else Power Slot 126.44129CSR Slotted Brake Rotor https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001O97JXC?_encoding=UTF8

I did the full tube and the scan gauge said it’s 13 degrees cooler on my ait, this was coming from a K&n I take without wrap and going to the afe with the rad support I take scoop as well so that would be taken into consideration
