Well, I've had the truck for 5 years now and never put more than a couple hundred into it. I've decided to keep it a few more years, so that's my excuse for upgrades.

You have to remove the whole front end to do it...…………………. that does not look enjoyable to myself.

Yah that's kind of ridiculous. It's obvious they pulled the light out, cleaned off the glue and put this big gasket back on underneath it. The only thing that would be inconvenient is not being able to stand in the bed to do it.

I kind of wish I could've gotten my hands in there while they had the light off. I put the new stubby antenna up and I would've loved to just goop up the bottom with waterproof silicone just to make extra sure it never leaks.

Separately, did you soundproof the whole truck? What do you think? I go back and forth. It's not too loud but sometimes you hit a nasty patch of asphalt that echoes through the whole body.

Picked up my southern style offroad full plate bumper today. 2 hours round trip to the trucking depot. Shipping things freight isnt great these days. Originally when I ordered in July, it was going to ship to a place 15 minutes from me. Today i got to take a drive because the shipping near me would have double the freight. It was a nice drive and i have the bumper.
One complaint, im sick and tired of needing to watch a video as the only avenue for instillation instructions. Videos are helpful, but i do miss having some printed instructions with photos. Some companies provide them, and quite a few do not.

We'll see how instillation goes solo this weekend , maybe use a couple floor jacks....

I am the opposite. I find it a lot harder to look at paper instructions than follow a video. With the video I can watch them do it step by step and there is not guessing

Oh, you should not have made that statement. Now your battery is going to fail. :)

Glad you finally got it. Mine is sitting in my little shop ready to go but I'm putting in a new sound system and sure don't need two projects going at the same time. Take some pictures of major steps if you don't mind. Your truck looks great!

Yup, I have one of my vehicles dynamatted from top to bottom and back to front. Most of the sound comes through the windows now which makes it very noticeable. But still a lot quieter than if it didn't have it

Lights. In the spirit of Christmas, I put lights on the truck.

DD SS3 Pro Combo yellow ditch
    DD SS3 Pro Fogs
LED interior lights (all of them including mirrors)
    LED Reverse lights
    LED License plate lights

And then I did the window "deflectors" or visors. I got the matte low profile versions.
Finally topped it off with a "bug" deflector for the hood. The new version with the small hump at the front. Looks great on darker trucks but if I had a lighter color I'd avoid it.

Phone mount too. Was an eventful day. Pics to follow on my build log tomorrow.

Those are good batteries. Mine was leaking and was replaced under warranty with a Toyota True-start shortly after buying my truck in 2017. Still works after almost 5 years, but I can tell I'll need a new one soon.

Fog lights came today. Right lights this time. Quick got them in. They might be aimed a little high. Not sure. They are pretty awesome. Big hats off to Rogue Offroad for handling things even though the mix up was at Diode Dynamics. And hats off to DD for quickly getting the correct lights to me.

Top set of pics is on my garage from about 25 feet. Bottom set is on the road.
