have done that plenty of times, but with tools and not electronics.

Could you justify it for your truck or another vehicle though? if not, i wouldnt shame you

Lol that's what hurt even more about having to buy it. I have a portable jump starter in my truck. So i definitely don't need this one unless i left it in my work office as a spare on the off chance it might die again...

Didn't feel like bump starting it? Or is it too new to do that?

I've never done it before with any vehicle and didn't feel like trying it out on my bike lol. though after a buddy explained to me the process for a bike, it seems easy enough that I could have done so...next time lol

Don't think anyone I know ever suffers with dead vehicle batteries lol so it would largely be a wasted Xmas present. Just me haha

    That’s what I was thinking.
    :notsure:

Those things are usually pretty good as a charging pack for small electronics on long trips too so it could be useful if you know someone that travels a lot. I’d personally go that route rather than return. Or it could be your backup to leave at work just in case.

But really if you returned it, it wouldn’t be the worst thing. It’s not like you abused it or are returning an item that isn’t what you purchased. I’ve gotten burned a few times with Amazon warehouse deals like that, but they’ve always taken care of it.

That's fair, I was nervous my first time doing it. It's kind of a fun skill to have though, even when your battery isn't dead. I was at an offroad riding training three or four years ago and one of the instructors bumped his bike off the center stand while on it, casually dropped the clutch and bumped it alive and road off. It was so slick and cool looking  It was Sean Thomas' older brother.

    A bunch..and no build thread!
I can't count how many times I've bump started a bike..lol. I had a 2004 GSXR 750 track bike that did not have a starter. Every time it was a bump start. usually by myself. Get a running start, in second, clutch pulled in, hop onto the bike and pop that bitch!

Wheelie off into the sunset..usually unexpectedly..lol

Got some new pants today finally and they are super nice! Tourmaster Alpine Trek. Tried them on with the winter liner first, and man was that a chore. Also put on boots.

then took off the winter liner and they're much easier to put on. Im going to test them out on a ride tomorrow before I work. Im sure they will be great. Next up jacket

I once had a 50cc 2 stroke Aprilia Rally scooter and I loved that thing, it ripped. I still regret selling it, it could fit an 18 rack of tall boys under the seat.

Actual motorcycles I don't know much about them haha but from what I've incidentally heard/remember they're nice, but can be a pain for any kind of major service with their pretty limited US dealer network, depending on your location and proximity to one. My closest dealer is 5 hours away, according to their website.
