    Was between bestop and softopper. Went with bestop since I needed it asap and they got it to me within a couple days through realtruck.

    softopper seemed to be having backorder issues and weren’t clear. Hope you get yours without issue!

    After reading posts about reduced eye strain using the yellow lenses....that seems to be the way to go.

    Honeycomb composite sleeper platform.
    I had 4 yellow PIAAs on an old XJ Jeep back in the day and loved them. If you live where it is dusty or need to drive in a blizzard they really out perform a standard white lens.

    Other perk to yellow is DD uses 4K LEDs in the yellow models opposed to 6K in the whites so if you put a white lens on the yellow light you get a much warmer white light which is also easier on the eyes. I run 4K bulbs in my HID headlights and love the output/color.

    The lenses are interchangeable, but it comes with an *. The yellow and white versions of the lights in pro and sport power levels come with different color LEDs (all Max power SS3s have 6000k LEDs). So if you just swap lenses you're going to get varying results:

    Start with White Light (6000k LED):
    Swap with different pattern clear lens - Maintain the 6000k output color
    Swap in a yellow lens - Produces a "lime green" color. I can't really put a Kelvin color temp on it, but it's definitely not an ideal output. The only way to possibly get the proper output would be to use the darker yellow lens that DD puts on the Max version of the lights. They don't even list it, but they may sell you them. You'll be dealing with reduced output though.

    Start with Yellow Light (4000k LED):
    Swap with a clear lens - Produces a 4000k output color. I call it a "buttery" white and I really like the color.
    Swap in a different yellow lens - Maintains the 3000k color temperature


    All that aside I personally prefer everything above the hood-line to be in the white spectrum to allow for color distinction at distance, and lights below in yellow.

    TL;DR - Don't swap yellow lenses onto the lights that you have on the way. The yellow covers are slightly darker and will provide a better output color. They're cheaper to boot.

    Hah yeah I ended up waiting a day too long on something.

    I doubt it but I’d love to see some tires on sale as I’m feeling like I will want to swap out the Kevlars as it felt like a slip and slide the other day during a snow storm
