Epic!! What did that cost you to do all that sound proofing?

I have a 5 min commute and still on stock battery July 18 build. Haven’t topped off or anything and seems to be chugging along. I don’t thing it’s ever really started with a confidence though

I think for those complaining about removing a shell to perform the job should really look at what’s involved in the install instructions (even if it’s the trim ring only and not a replaced light)

I hate going to a job when the customer doesn’t provide enough room/space for me to do the job… a case of not understanding what it takes or lack of consideration for anyone but themselves. For me it’s a matter of safety- I won’t contort or risk injury to work around your mess (I’ve done it and been rewarded for it unfortunately which is why I won’t do it again)

fyi a bead of sealant needs to be put down around the whole perimeter and not just the top of the light. Pdf instructions are floating around on this site if you search it. Also I get the not broke don’t fix but my theory is part of the leaks are due to gasket degradation over time (they were originally thin which is why a new light gets the revised, thicker, gasket) so by doing nothing now may cost you a headache down the road- interior rip out due to mold infestation. Food for thought

It likely also has something to do with climate, and not just in a North or South way. In Oklahoma I went through at least two batteries in the 4 years I had my last car there, but in the last four years in Massachusetts I never needed to replace my battery right up until it got totaled last week. It had to be something to do with how the cold-snaps happen in Oklahoma that caused batteries to pre-maturely crap the bed. Up here they just get cold and stay cold for months at a time and they seem to be ok. I did have to replace the battery in my wife's car early after the move, so who knows.

I’ve had a damaged canopy roof panel sent twice because of freight shipper damage (both different companies). I had to persuade a resolution that cost me more but I can say it was worth the extra to get my 3rd roof sent Not damaged

Awe man, bummer dude, hopefully you get unmanaged replacements. I talked to Sparks Toyota a while back and they said they were not shipping any headlamps until further notice because of shipment damage. They said once they get a reliable process for shipping them then they would resume. Ive got the harness and will order from Merritta Toyota who has good prices and go get them.

I’d think or thought the fogs should be aimed below the headlight spot light. If that’s the case they are a little high, going off your garage panels I’d say 6” or so

this is where I’d aim them in red line

Something about the super bright light is negated a bit by the "Vehicle Data Transmission" sticker. :p

Easy stuff today. 1 Mat but I installed it back wards at first should have paid $30.00 cause I had to turn it around. Put 4 Mud Flaps on before I got a ticket on the back tires there enforcing it here once in a while? Seat covers in a few days still waiting on them. Dropping off my Pirelli Scorpion Winter tires to be mounted on the extra rims I bought. DSCF7839.jpg DSCF7863.jpg DSCF7867.jpg
