I'd be worried about that ujoint, looks like it's gone ungreased for a good long while. The leak, that's just a seep at best and I'd leave it be, keep a closer eye on it during engine oil changes and check the fluid levels every so often.

Pretty sure that seam is a dry space between the transmission and transfer case.

On mine I had a leaking transfer case input shaft seal and that space filled up with gear oil. When I removed the t-case I was surprised how much standing oil was trapped in there

Mine wasn't leaking on the side though, it was wet down near the bottom

it is a dry pocket area normally. Unless you have a transmission out put seal failure on the AT or a transfer case input seal failure.

Yep when I had it apart I replaced both seals. There was almost half a qt of gear oil trapped in there. Before I put the t-case back on I cut a small notch in the bottom edge of the case to act as a "drain". If something is leaking in there I want to know about it sooner rather than later

Too many to list, and I've probably forgotten a bunch.
Looks like old grease flung up from the u-joint. I'd hit it with some brake cleaner and wipe it down good, then keep an eye on it.

And yeah, that u-joint looks like it needs some fresh grease ASAP.
