That budbilt is the biggest IFS skid I've seen for our trucks, the next thing for it is the Belly pan...which I also have :anonymous: it covers all the way back to the tcase, but adds a lot of weight and makes maintenance a pain

I've enjoyed my Budbuilt on the 04. Need to get one on my 99 but I have nothing to mount it to :bananadead:. I was slapping my front diff and was worried about my radiator a week or two ago.

I learned my lesson after i mangled it on some bolders and got bad vibrations. I had a smaller diameter/thicker gage one built for a little more protection; however, it is still something that limits what i can do.

Yeah, F150 tank is in the future as it eliminates the possibility of the drive shaft making contact.

When longer rear shocks are used, the only 2 limiters are the drive shaft making contact with the gas tank, and the upper links being too short and being fully vertical on droop.

@Kwikvette if you want the belly pan it's yours too, don't know why I didn't think of it when you picked up the ifs skid. Just taking up space over here. But it's a heavy motherfucker and a pain to take on/off, but it offers the most protection front to back with the IFS skid.

Personally I think the IFS skid with a tcase skid is enough for what we do. The driveshaft will always be a concern and really you want to avoid those lines that might damage it. But shit does happen... I've seen a couple friends hit theirs and both times it was when they slid on an obstacle and hit it.

    I'm not 100% sure it would mount to a T4R but where there's a will there's a way

I'll take you up on that.

Maybe we can do a mod day on my 4R at your place :anonymous:

But I wouldn't expect to run it all the time, maybe on days/runs where I'd need it seeing as how there are tons of places to wheel here.

Besides the initial cost of boost, this is the #1 reason I won’t ever.

Honestly you get used to it. I really don't even think about it outside of when it gets brought up here, or even acknowledge the price of 87 in comparison when I'm getting gas.
