    I contacted Meso a few days ago through their website to inquire about buying the harness separately. (Funny you found the harness on Meso's website. I looked and looked, but I must have skimmed right past it. ) Austin said he could invoice one for me, but that was after I found both the v5's and the harness at Tacoma Lifestyle.

    Anyone needing V5's? I bought some out of habit and now have ordered a full size truck. Only opened box to see which sticker I got. They will come with your choice of MESO sticker :)

    Sorry about resurrecting a thread that has been beat to death, but want to confirm a couple things from those that have done the install.

    Going to finally get around to installing V5's over holiday break, after bench testing...fingers crossed that I have a good pair. As far as disassembly, I get that the door panels need to come off in order to fish wiring through door boot, but do mirrors have to be removed as well or does it just make the job easier? I have factory LED headlights, one of Dave's custom harness connectors for factory LEDs, Meso Total Tail 1 with resistors, and no Puddle Pods. Thanks all.

    Get one of those 2 foot long zip ties. It makes quick work of fishing the wires through the door boot.

    i took the mirror off. I’m not sure I could have ran the wire without it, or at least it would have made it more difficult. It’s 3 nuts holding it on so not much to get it off. Put your windows down before you start lol.
    I also recommend disconnecting the wires that go through the door so you can easily deal with the rubber pass through thing. Makes life much easier. You can see the backside of the mirror in the first pic and the door pass thru in the second.

    Auto body shop bout shit when testing my V5s after putting them in new side mirror. They hyperflash when in reverse and putting putting on turn signal. They couldn't figure it out. I let em keep trying for about 3 min before telling them to take it out of reverse

    I have OEM LED headlights, V5s, and Total Tail Stage 1

    These fit the Highlander also.
    Installed the Amber V5 switchbacks on the Taco and moved my Limited Edition white Switchbacks that were on for a few years to the new Highlander.
