I feel the title is pretty self explanatory, what are y'alls thoughts? I understand they probably have different return policies, insurance etc. So what do y'all think about both?

That's what I'm hearing, I think I might have to head in that direction but I am looking for something on the louder side

Regarding the sellers you mentioned: CarID is owned by some big conglomerate which typically means worse customer service. ExtremeTerrain is privately owned by one person. I haven't used either but in my other experiences you can't beat shopping with the smaller guy for better service.

Regarding your TRD exhaust: If you're gonna get one, get the TRD like others said. To each their own but frankly seems like a waste to me - not going to get much horsepower gains, it will be louder so you get "cool" points if that's your thing to have a loud and slow truck. Serious though you would be better off taking that money and doing other cool mods like tires/wheels/lift/rock sliders/bumpers that are actually functional. Teenagers will be teenagers, good luck. I guess I'm getting old...get off my lawn! (this is joke dont take serious)

I bought an AFE SS 3" kit. Not loud or obnoxious unless you are getting aggressive with the pedal. Overall, very pleased.

Haha, I'm a teenager and I've already done most of the other upgrades I can and I don't need sliders cause my parents won't let me go offroading for now, haha

How does it sound? I'm going to get the single but I am curious about how the muffler sounds.

Fair enough. Sliders can be beneficial to protect your truck from other people hitting it in traffic or parking lots. Tell them it's a safety device, see if they change their mind.

You could also take all that exhaust money and spend it on doing every piece of maintenance you can think. Change all the fluids, fix things on suspension if needed, etc. Upgrade your stereo/speakers or do noise deadening on the interior. Buy an onboard air setup. Anything really. But whatever makes you happy, I'm just razzin ya cuz I'm a midlife grump that doesn't think loud exhaust is cool on a slow vehicle lol. My Fast & Furious days are over and I just want stuff to work!

It sounds pretty good. Not overly loud, but I like it.

Haha, I've already done most of the maintenance stuff I can, my family has had the truck since new and I've been keeping in perfect condition since we bought it, this is pretty much the last thing I'm doing to it besides taking a dent out, thank you for the help though, I'm doing speakers and deadening in a few weeks.

Good, thank you so much, I've been trying to find someone who had actually bought it so I could figure out how loud it is, all the reviews I seen and read seem very misleading.
