Single axle vs dual axlw RV Towing?

Can anyone provide some insight from experience in pulling something around a 22 ft TT (actual total length), in the 3500 - 3800 lb (loaded) weight range, with a single axle? I've heard stay away from single axle for this length, but apparently this trailer's weight allows a single axle to be adequate. We're looking at the Gulf Stream 19 RSD, in case you're familiar with it.

The tandem axle will track much better and will not sway as bad in high winds/poor weather conditions as the single...If it has the Dexter axles and they are rated for 3500-3800 #'s then you should be alright, also check the spring pack and make sure it's adequate...does it have shocks? We had an Arctic Fox TT that had shocks and springs both, helped absorb bad road conditions and eliminated some of the bounce if the trailer was not loaded properly all the time...maybe go up a size if the floorplan is okay and get the tandex axle...??
