I don't think Raptor lighting make anyone a douche.
Get a set that is good quality, when one of LED burns out or gets condensation, the aesthetic part is gone.

I only know a couple guys who do off roading, the majority of their mods are functional, i.e. skid plates, rock sliders, etc; they mainly do trail rides / camps, some spots require friction boards, and such. Unfortunately I dont live in an area like Arizona, where they, or even I, could do rock climbs; They also use their trucks as their everyday commuter vehicles as well so they obviously have to be extra careful not to break an axle, or worse while being on trail. Most people are not in a financial position to have a 'play' vehicle.
Anywho, at this time I don't plan on doing any trail rides, but will do some light off roading in fields, small hills, and such.
Whats my point, you might be asking? 90% of the mods I plan on doing will be aesthetics.

I live in a densely populated 40 square mile area of rural, and urban areas, I commute 5 days a week on an over packed two lane piece of shit highway, that has an excess amount of trucks, from work trucks, old beaters, Rams / f150s / Silverados w/ smoke stacks, to Tacos / Tundras, etc. I haven't been looking much, but I am yet to notice a single truck with raptor lights; maybe they're not 'hip' in this area?

The mods you have done can be construed as both functional, and aesthetic, but its all subjective.
What kind of bed lighting did you put in? Honestly pretty annoyed that mine did not come with bed lighting.

according to Tacotoast (above posting), Raptor lights makes you a douche, I think... and a "whore", and maybe a fake cop too.

I'd go with 2022 Tundra Pro lights instead.

Any mod that adds absolutely 0 functionality and is purely for looks. Kinda like a sticker. Not that is anything wrong with that but I think that’s what he means.

I'm not saying that your mods are purely functional, or aesthetic. A power lock for the tailgate obviously does not add an eye catching feature to your truck.
To me, running boards add function, and a nice look; unless I am mistaken (correct me if I'm wrong please), to you, the running boards on your truck are purely functional.

My original point was: add ons to a truck may be functional, aesthetic, or both; but again, that is all subjective.

I also like stickers. That’s why I said nothing wrong with it. The dude just made it sound like he didn’t understand what aesthetics are but I guess he was just making a point that he also adds stuff that’s functional.

Ha ha, we love teasing Spirt owners, don't take it personally Bri. I don't even have an issue with a base SR Taco. They don't have all the bells and whistles but they still Rock.
