Installed the other day! The stock skids were sad looking compared to the TRD skid.

The only time I've ever been given a warning about mud flaps here in WA by a cop is when I had my XJ completely covered in mud and said since I had bigger tires I would need mud flaps.

I like running mud flaps because it protects your own paint and doesnt fling rocks to the cars behind you. That being said I'm trying to find a way to mount my aftermarket flaps since I've trimmed my fenders...

Would be cool if a company made high quality quick-disconnect-style mudflaps.

Probably easier to type "they should _____" on a forum than making a functional, safe, and profitable new product though. :notsure:

Did you at least open them and inspect for possible damage? Where'd you order from? Hotshotoffroad? I'm starting to wish I would have ordered those instead of the oem led pros.

Are those amber or white DRL? Either way, they're great headlights.

Not sure if the 2020 OR has OEM LED DRL or not, but I emailed Morimoto last week and they still don't make a harness compatible with that plug style -- or else I'd be eyeing the amber DRL myself.

The same plug currently prevents me running raptor lights that turn on/off along with the DRL. :help:

    The plug in question:

Got a flight to catch so no didn't open them up but fingers crossed I'm sure they're fine...oh wait they were delivered by FexEx Ground those guys usually suck but the dude who works my neck of the woods seems to do a good job so I guess hit or miss on the possibility it's damaged. Thanks a lot now I'm slightly worried haha...

Got them from Morimoto themselves using their Black Friday promotion couldn't ignore 30% off...

    Ordered the White DRL one.

My 2020 OR does indeed have the OEM DRL hmm okay I guess when I get back next week I'll find out if these are indeed Plug and play as the box and their website clearly states...then again I don't have Raptor lights on my faux TRD Pro grill so one less thing to worry about, I guess...

Not sure if they're the same but the OEM LED headlights on my 2021 Sport are really nice.

All I miss from the Morimoto on a previous truck is the ability to toggle/reverse sequential turn signals, and now am a little jealous of the amber DRL on the latest XB Gen 2. The startup sequence was cool, but felt a little too subtle.

Sold the Tepui Ayer II. Picked up the Roofnest Condor Overland earlier today. Hoping to install it later tonight. So far, it looks like a good fit for the current bed rack setup. Thank you Tepui Ayer II for your service. I hope the next users enjoy you as much as we did or more. :)
