Typical Dallas fan response. I am a Phila fan and realize how bad they are. I also know Dallas will NEVER win another SB with the current owner. These type of Dallas fans are the reason Dallas is the most despised team in the NFL
    Could you be more pretentious?!?

During the season, there should be no guessing about where the allegiance lies when participating in the Trash Talkers thread. Folks need to get the :anonymous: off. Stand proud. Man up.

    Sorta like Countess Bathory?

Hill ain't a terrible starter but if he had Kamara next to him, his job gets much easier. And yeah some of those picks like the 6er were rather great plays.

No, disdain for Dallas is much more widespread. The only good thing that ever came out of that town is celebrating the female form. Go dallas CHEERLEADING.

Wilson had surgery on the middle finger of his throwing hand this season. I wouldn’t put it past him to muscle up and stick it to the niners one last time as a Seahawk. Not exactly a crowning achievement but that finger is still attached to that arm. I’m still waiting for proof the niners can sustain this run. A win now to sink the Hawks season beyond any doubt would do it.

Agreed. The Hawks are over this season, but they always have a shot against my Niners and Jimmy (throw into coverage and miss the guy wide open) Garoppolo. Strong rumor has it that J.G. is traded next season.

For the right deal I could see that happening and it could well happen with so many teams needing a veteran qb. But until Lance is proven we are still one of those teams and Trey was drafted as the least experienced college qb so he’s still a long way from being an upgrade to anyone. It would have to involve multiple draft picks including a high first rounder to make it worthwhile. The problems we’ve had are not just Jimmy and he’s shown time after time that he can do the job. No, he’ll never be all pro but even hall of fame qbs can’t win without a good team around them and some never did even with. It would be a huge mistake to send him packing for anything less than an overwhelming offer because without that next season will be flushed.

You raise several strong points..such as needing a good team around.

Other hand, the 9s are owing Jimmy a fortune and the longer he's there the more that could hamstring them

I'm just not sold on keeping J.G. another season. He's too overpaid, way too inconsistent, footwork is anemic, doesn't see wide open receivers, throws too many costly picks or little dinks to the side for no yards, Etc. They have to rely too heavy on the run game and the defense to carry him. I say trade him.

There’s definitely room to come out on top of a deal but I don’t want him gone for less than that since Lance will need at least as much support and probably more to be successful in the near term.

I remember him being touted as the next Tom Brady around here all those years and it's sad to say he has fallen far short of his press clippings. Not sure what the real reason is, though the injuries are a big problem.

In a way I wonder if the Patriots weren't too soft with him, not unlike the New York Yankees were with Joba Chamberlain and he was a big vessel of unfulfilled potential.

I still maintain New England screwed up big time not dealing him at the draft that year, instead they waited until the last minute and got a second round pick..whoopie doo. By comparison, the Pats gave up a 2nd for Mohamed Sanu..yeah.

Good Lord, I remember JG got a lot of $ for the contract but 137.5, nearly 90M guaranteed..

EDIT: Your description of him is accurate..that is a good game manager who probably won't ruin your team, but that's not worth the contract either.
