After a full throttle mid turn spin and center punching a hapless Subaru merrily driving along minding its own business, the driver has the razor sharp reflexes to remove his/her/they foot from the throttle pedal. This allows the quick thinking Ram driver to adeptly do the following: While perpendicular to the roadway and pointing toward a precipice with only a few feet of distance, proceeds to apply full throttle. Impressive

    This is awesome!

But how in the hell does Hawaii have more snow than we have here in Maine?

    Be safe everyone!

Because Hawaii is keeping the snow for itself... seriously. Normally a cold front will pass by the Big Island on its way to the west coast and then further east. This storm is unique, it is being referred to as a "Hydrologic" event and is more of a cyclone than a cold front. It is creating a "Kona Low" which means that there is a west wind (instead of the traditional east trade winds) and is very rare. It is no longer moving and has become stationary and will pound the islands for the next few days.
