Nice I have that same tool box. Thanks, I think I’ll look for a 3,4 or 6Ah set.

I like to have one battery more than I have tools so that one can always be on the charger, fully charged, the oscillating tool seems to be a little of mine that uses the most battery, but also needed to fit in the tight spot. A three amp hour battery set might be nice to for the impact and drill so that I can keep a little batteries handy for the oscillating tool usage.

I have the Milwaukee ratcheting wrenches in SAE and metric set in fixed head and flex head
Have had gearwrench and craftsman flex head ratcheting wrenches and the Milwaukee are head and shoulders above in terms of feel, quality, and performance

Biggest complaint with the Gearwrench is the way the heads flopped around after some use.
Milwaukee uses a heavy spring washer to maintain the position of the head, which I find very useful when trying to difficult to reach fasteners

 

Yay I can see again! I had the small AAA powered headlamp for over a year but it finally died. Time to go rechargeable. My boss also got us two new 5.0 batteries and got the m18rover light deal. That sucker is bright!

 

If anyone's been on the fence about this little guy I can't say enough good things about it. I have 2 of them and I find they are invaluable for sticking on the underside of the hood while I work on cars. And they have a USB charging port to boot.

 

Agreed. The magnets work well. Even stick to my wheel well through the liner. Can't really see the light, but it's up there...

I just picked up the M12 - CP3.0 and XC6.0 w/ charger and bag for $89! the XC3.0 2-pack w/o charger or bag will get returned as it has not been opened. $10 savings and more stuff.

That m12 circ saw with 2 6.0 batteries is a pretty good deal

 

For those that have the 2804-20 Fuel hammer drill what are your thoughts on the clutch? I got mine yesterday and it seems defective. Took a quick look around google and its not just me. Which makes me think it might be a bad design from Milwaukee / not the intended use?

On the lowest settings like 1 or 2 I can stall the motor by just grabbing the chuck before it actually 'clutches out'. And that stall still feels like way more torque than any other drill Ive ever used. If its just an electronic limit on the motor I wouldn't even call it a clutch really.

 

I’ve had mine for a few years, never had any issues with it. Not sure about the clutch issue. But it drills what I need it to drill

 

Have you ever tried to drive smaller screws into soft wood with the lowest settings on the clutch? Im mostly trying to determine if I got defective one, or if its their intended design. In which case Ill send it back and look for something else
