So do l, the seat and motor mounts broke on the Horizon and the suspension had a permanent lean and that motorcycle struggled mightily to move him.

That would be over Tacoma’s payload.

No money, all went to truck...
The Lexus 4 cylinder turbo motor in the tacoma would be awesome.

I'm 6'4", 210. Aside from having to lean forward to see the traffic light if I'm first in the queue and that I have the seat so far back I look left and see B-Pillar instead of window, I fit like a glove.

Color me old and clueless. Back in late seventies, a fit six foot male weight was 165. Now the women are that weight. So, it isn't my imagination that things have gotten sloppy and gross.

5’ 10” at 240 (sigh) and I find the Tacoma the hardest to get in and out of all the vehicles I have recently owned. Not difficult by any means but my “normal” method that worked on my car and works in our Highlander had me racking my right knee against the cubby. Only a minor adjustment (foot first then ass to seat, not both at the same time) and it’s fine. It’s certainly not spacious inside but it is a comfortable cozy, which is what I wanted

I like to sit upright, as a taller person that means zero headroom and poor visibility in a Tacoma. It was a large factor in why I replaced my 06 Tacoma SR5 with a 10 Frontier Pro-4x.

Gotcha, it definitely seems to be that some of you guys like the wheel a LOT closer and lower to you than I prefer it, so I get it.

My preference is for the wheel to be out away from me a bit, and sitting higher so my in and out is just fine. Small hop up, that's it. I find the truck very roomy.

I'm big, but I also drive an NA Miata so I'm not that big. :)

My 09's seats arent smooth and my rather large behind (thanks, squats) gets caught up on it. Since I step into the truck, it can sometimes end up being a butt-hop to get behind the wheel. Used to the slick pleather in my old 3 series :D

I personally think if it looked like this it’d be a good looking little truck. This is coming from a 1st gen owner too.

I am 6'4" 260 lb. I fit when I had my Tacoma, like a glove. When I got the Tundra, I could have gained four inches and a hundred pounds and still fit. To me, the Tacoma fit me best, even if I had to get in head first.

So....after waiting a billion years for the Gladiator to come out turned out it's not the vehicle for me, and now the Tundra at this point seems to be meh....I will now wait for the next year's Tacoma because the current model's powertrain is not adequate.
I have 230,000 miles on my 2015 4Runner TRD PRO and 265,000 miles on my 1994 Toyota Hilux 4x4 so between both of them I'll be able to crank out 45,000 miles I put on every year to hold out until the next Tacoma.
Glad to be part of the speculation gang.

Front end looks like it is trying to compete with the new electric F150. Getting too modern for my taste.
