Gotta get off my butt and get some wood out of the woods.....wife loves her fireplace fires

 

Joy been on the phone with them. non refundable which doesnt matter to us at all cause its for a good cause but cant change dates either. but the lady just called and said they can come anytime next weekend

my idea of a good neighbor. youngin that lives on our lane. we passed and stopped to talk. his truck wouldnt start back up.rite infront of the house. he wasnt sure, told him think battery is dead. went up and got the meter. yup. dead as they get, he was going to walk back to his house and get the other vehicle. no,no. went back up and got the jumper cables. jump it. he was good to drive back up the lane. no big deal. we went out to get a pizza. came back and this was at the garage.didnt have to do that, wasnt a big deal.shows good youngins are still around

 

Evening all

Just got back from dinner at my favorite restaurant after picking my brother up at the airport

 

Busy, busy day. Wife went to NH for the day with her friends.

Leaves are all picked up, bagged and dropped off at the transfer station. 9 bags of shredded leaves. Cleaned the wood stove chimney (liner). While up on the roof, I found the flashing around the chimney needs to be replaced. Sealed up a few holes with silicone which will get me through the winter. Removed leaves and crap from the valleys on the roof. Added more support to the tarp covering the boat to keep the snow from collapsing in. Installed a new AC ceiling register in the kitchen as a test before I order for the rest of the house. Hung the Christmas wreath out on the house and put the Christmas decorations on the outdoor pole light. Had time to practice the guitar and talked to my BIL a for about an hour on the phone. He’s going to be coming home from the rehab hospital on the 17th.
