Hm. I think usually a slipping clutch shows itself in the high gears since that’s where you’re putting more torque through it. But this is a crawler so a lot of torque could be in at the low gears too.

Yeah in 4 low you have the torque to push the clutch in any gear if you have enough traction lol

I told my friend I'd build a tube bumper for it with some LED pods instead of fixing it

On the other hand it would be nice to avoid any extra attention

It just occurred to me that pulling the core support without deleting the airbags is gonna be a bad time lol

    Stuff. Also things.
I’m almost done with the vapor barrier.

But I’m trying to make the space as sound isolated as possible, so I “had to” frame a double wall in, wire in two new circuits, and do double the insulation. Apparently I also “had to” cut in a skylight at some point too.

Once I’m done with the vapor/air barrier, it’s time for whisper clips and hat channel. Then two layers of drywall with green glue between them.

What I should have done was just leave it at only the exterior walls, wire it up, slap some insulation in the bays and get the drywall and mud/tape out of the way as soon as possible.

    Instead, here I am…

Core support should only take you a few hours. On the Tacoma the only thing that really sucked is the ac line has to discharge because it runs through the core support. On the 4runner I said fuck it and just hammered it back to shape.

Yeah that Tacoma core support is annoying lol

Mine needs to be repaired or replaced. It's cracked on both sides under the headlights. I fear that if I weld/reinforce it there it will break somewhere else lol

Mine tore in the same spots and above the passenger head light. I ordered an aftermarket one on eBay. I wasn't expecting much but surprisingly it lined up almost perfect.

Just to think about the money I've spent when I could have had a Taurus.

This thing goes. It has a hidden winch. It gets in there and wheels with the best of them.
