    Hello Experts -

    2011 Tacoma 4.0

Can't seem to re-set my Tire Pressure Gauge Light.
Hoping somebody might have some tips here.

    - The pressure is correct on all 4 tires
    - I pressed the RESET button below the steering column multiple times etc and still no go.

    - The gauge flashes multiple times then stays permanent while driving.

    Thanks

Pressing the button resets the number at which your sensor will trip, IIRC.

I surmise you have one or more TPMS sensors needing replacement since you've checked pressure already. It happened last year on my 2010 so it's about the same timeframe for your truck. Not sure what shops are nearby but I used Town Fair Tire, they found the faulty one and replaced it for about $40.

If the light is flashing there's a problem with the system (ususally no signal from one or more sensors) not an air pressure problem, most tire shops have a TPMS tool that can check the sensors.

Sounds like a bad TPMS sensor. My mom had this same exact issue with a Toyota Highlander she used to own

Light on solid = tire pressure too low

Lights blinks for a minute then goes solid = sensor(s) not communicating

Probably time for a new set of sensors and a reprogramming

Good catch, not sure if his has one in the spare. My 10 didn't.

But yeah the shop can just scan them and find out which one(s) are the issue simply
