Hey ya'll, first time poster here.

I'm removing my seized 130 amp denso alternator but I can't seem to wiggle it out as described by others. I've removed and pushed the wiring harnesses out of the way but the alternator chasis wider than the opening between the oil catch and the wheel well body... so it's getting stuck.

One might think simply remove the oil catch then...but I'm unsure if this is too invasive to other parts. I just want to follow the steps and not mess with other things if no one else does.

Any tips will be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

    I had the same problem.
I removed the front left tire and mud flap and removed the alternator via the wheel well.

It was successful. For future readers. I was able to remove the mud flap and easily slide the alternator out while leaving the wheel intact and in the straight position.

    Thanks again Rob!

You mean you still have front mud flaps on your 07?
Mine got ripped clean off years ago. Dropped the front down into a small culvert while hunting.
Ripped it clean off. Those thing hang low.

Good job in getting the alternator done.
