Prices should normalize when the supply chain fills and begins flowing smoothly.

Although, I seriously doubt you will see a new Tacoma for $20K.

 

It will actually be very interesting to see how this plays out if we can ever emerge from our current malaise. When it does happen I predict banner days for the stock market due to a lot of pent up demand!

 

Supply chain issues aren't causing inflation. The FEDs money printer is. 40% of all US dollars where printed in the last 18 months. Yep. Money printer go burrrrrr. Inflation go BURRRRRR. lol

You are not wrong! But the ongoing supply chain issues are certainly compounding the impact.

Looking at it from an economic prospective, the solution for high prices is: High Prices.

As prices rise, producers are willing to sell more. As prices fall, producers are willing to sell less. For consumers it is the other way around. Although the issue is with the disruption of the supply chain it may not be anytime soon that prices will drop.

 

Yea, tru dat. Damnit, gas prices here in Cali are killin us. This $5 gas is getting old.

Also, you really think dealerships are going get a taste of everyone being used to paying far markups and suddenly prices will go down? Haha

 

it would be more plausible to find some pletonium, shove it up a crappy Delorian's ass, time travel back to 1998, and buy a brand new Tacoma for 20K.
