Has anyone had any issues with this tune and the dealership getting wise? Voided warranties? In Denver and considering this in the next couple months.

The slopes are supposed to get a ton of snow. I might take off work on Friday, if it's going to hit by then.

When: This Saturday, December 11th 12:00 PM-2:00 PM (likely will try to be a bit early and stay a little past then, thinking about maybe bringing a grill and some brats but that's TBD).

I was going to go earlier but supposed to get snow Friday (finally) and want to give it a little time to melt so I hopefully don't have to deal with many I25 idiots who don't know how to drive in the snow.

No one has had an issue. I have tuned quite a few service advisors and master techs too. Our general rule of thumb is don’t strut into the dealer bragging about the tune and it won’t ever come up. To get them to even plug a laptop in and run techstream is usually a PITA itself. However, if you ever have concerns/major warranty work done we can always flash back to stock and reflash the tune after, both of which would be free of charge (though I do like beer )

 

Any issues with engine knocking after doing this tune? I am in the Springs and just replaced my stock battery with a 27f so I am looking to get a tune + fix charging capacity for the battery.

 

had mine like 5-6 months and a few thousand miles, no issues whatsoever. Very happy customer.

 

Any testimonials for the second gen tune??

 

Got tuned back in December. but at that time there was still no KDMAX 2nd Gen support. Adam (MGMSangTaco) installed an
hptuners tune.
