    I have always stalked Tacoma World to browse endlessly for tricks and tips for the ol' taco. Finally decided to log on and join the fun.
    The goods:
    2004 Tacoma - one owner (hint, it's me)
    4x4 Xtra cab
    V6
    Manual transmission
    Limited
    Bilstein 5100
    Miles: 139K
    Frame in great shape

    Issues with the ol' girl: clear coat peel (yeah, the known issue)

    Like many people on here, the truck needs various little parts and ALWAYS looking to better the taco.

    Love the quicksand. Wife was wanting a 4Runner in either quicksand or lunar rock and was able to nab her a lunar from PA at sticker value with their discounts for military. Everyone in the DC area was marking up Tacomas and 4Runners 10-25K over MSRP on TRD Pros and Offroads.
