Dealer just said they would replace it, no questions asked. So I didn't even bother asking about the Pro. I like how the stock 19 TRD OR looks, but my only worry was it would eventually peel also. So if it does, then I'll worry about buying something else. My warranty will be up by then.

I tried this when I went in. It’s not a small dealer and they aren’t huge either but it was before covid and they wouldn’t budge. Said Toyota would only pay for an authorized replacement part. I said fine wasn’t gonna try any harder and they replaced the grill for free. Good luck man!

Thanks for the response. Ya I just didn't feel like messing around either. He got me another oem TRDOR ordered up so I'm not going to complain. I just hope this one doesn't start peeling.

Your welcome and not a problem. The new one shows no signs of peeling paint and I’m going on 10 months with it. Only thing I’ve changed is hand washing it instead of going through the automatic car washes. I’ll see how this winter treats it but so far so good.

I have the same issue with my grill. Simply said I sometimes get stuck behind rock and gravel haulers going to work and I believe they're the main culprits. Nothing to do but lay way back off of them or wait until you can pass.
