    you are probably correct on it being a photo of a T4R. Id be all over that if I didnt just install a old school Pelfreybilt IFS skid

    I ordered more Taco goodies from Prestige Toyota in NY.



    It is annoying that the pictured skid plate on the site does not match the actual Tacoma TRD Skid plate.
    --That's the correct Part Number even though the photo is deceiving.

    Mine was missing one bolt as well. I just grabbed a replacement at Lowes rather than dealing with getting one shipped out to me.

    Thanks for the heads up. I've been wanting this because of the sexiness, but I couldn't justify $400 for just aesthetics. This price made me pull the trigger. I was charged in the ballpark of $310 after tax. Hopefully it arrives in finite time:fingerscrossed:

    I had a good laugh about your, "wanting this because of the sexiness".

    $400 is steep but $300+/- ($10) seems a little more reasonable.

    It's coming UPS...I tracked mine, cradle-to-grave! lol

    I have the stock OEM steel plate on my TRD Offroad, it does the job, but is pretty beat up and dented. Instead of spending the $$ for the Pro skid plate, I'll probably end up re-painting mine with maybe some rustoleum...has anyone done that?

    I’m sure it will look better than it looks now, but 6.5mil aluminum provides much better protection, plus it’s easier to change the oil.

    Well and it looks sexy AF!

    It has a door to access the oil drain plug, right? What about accessing the oil filter? Do you still have to take the skid off to get to it or is it accessible?

    It has a hole in the plate to access the drain plug. It has an access port to reach the oil filter (it's the small plate towards the front with 4 bolts that you see).
