Has anyone received a TRD Pro with a manual trans yet? I have had a deposit down on an Electric Lime since July but have heard nothing from the dealer. They said they don't know what's coming until a couple weeks before getting the delivery.

Pro's should be starting to show up closer to February from what I was told.

I put a deposit down last week on a 22' TRDOR Crew Short bed 6MT, I have been working with my dealer for 15+ years and he was only able to get me an MSRP deal. I have 3 guys in front of me but he said timeline should be 8 weeks as long as I'm not too picky on color/options. I wanted a Pro this time around but he said he hasn't seen one for over 6 months and there will be a 10k ADM on them from the GM and he couldn't discount it, rediculous times we're in.

We have a 17' TRDOR Crew Short bed Auto now that my son will get but I wanted the same package with roof and Nav but MSRP for the same truck has gone from 41k to 45k and the only difference I can see is leather. We only paid 34k for the 17' so will be missing that discount!

I did get 2 texts Friday from him for a Blue TRDOR and a Red TRDSport both Crew short bed 6MT's but I don't like those colors, if I did I could have had the Taco in 4 weeks.

I found a dealership with an in-stock TRD OR long bed and bought it immediately! Now time to get my deposit back from the other dealership....
Also there's a pretty slick Army Green TRD OR that hasn't been assigned to a customer heading to High Country Toyota in Scottsboro AL

Longo Toyota in El Monte, CA are selling Tacomas at MSRP. I know because I just ordered a 2022 Limited in Wind Chill Pearl with the Nightshade package

Is that just as to when a particular dealer is getting there's? Or is that before anyone gets one?

Here are a few week 47/49 *temporary* TRD Pro VINs that are or have been on autotrader:

    3TYCZ5AN1NT47A268 (AT green)
    3TYCZ5AN2NT47A599 (MT green)
    3TYCZ5AN2NT47A635 (MT black)
    3TYCZ5AN1NT49B198 (MT green)

All of those still show up in the Toyota VIN lookup though (not sure if that means for certain they haven't been built?)

We're in the middle of calendar week 49 now, not sure if that equates to Toyota week #49.

I believe that's when they start getting allocated to certain dealers.

Extreme Terrain (XT), B&M shifter, Supreme Suspensions Leveling Kit 3/2, Flowmaster Catback, Pedal Commander. More coming...
I may be a little late to this thread but here goes...my experience:
We were looking for a 21 or 22 in Sept. Was told you still can't preorder anything, Toyota not letting you. So by early Oct. we sat down with a dealer hoping to get a lunar or cement Access Cab, V6 with 6' bed w/Tech Package but were told at the time...the only thing in the system even close was a 22 SR5 V6 Super White Double Cab w/6' and Tech Package so we took that...paid $35,100. $500 down on the 15th to lock in our purchase, the truck was built on 10/22 and trained across country for delivery 11/18 on the first day the dealer said we "might" see it.
All in all not the way I'm used to buying cars, I always find them and see them first but this is where we are now, I guess.
Still, love this truck! Wasn't looking for white but I will make it work. I have big plans....33s/285s that I plan on running with a Supreme Suspensions leveling kit 3"front, 2"rear. Flowmaster cat back, Pedal Commander, aftermarket front bumper and grill. All already purchased except the tires. Turns out the best I can afford (after all I've already spent) is Cooper Adventurer 285.75.16s that Pep Boys has on sale thru Dec.
Please provide any guidance/advice you think helpful, and thanks. I'll keep the pics and comments coming as I make my installs as the VA winter allows (I have a garage but it is attached and too small to work out of. It does a good job of holding my tools though!).20211128_155042.jpg 20211205_094734.jpg 20211128_155052.jpg

I'm a week or so out from delivery...and I'm pretty sure my Jeep has decided to just fall apart.

Before the bashing Jeep begins - I will ferociously and forever defend the Tj/Mj/FSJ models, but this JK is a piece of crapppppppppp :annoyed:

Eh, they aren't too far behind. My temp vin was week 45 and scheduled for production on 11.19 and disappeared on 11.30. Less than two weeks isn't that bad all things considered in this world right now :amen:

Hey all! Long-time lurker, first post. I have been looking for a New Limited Nightshade in MGM since October and the only one I could find in the Seattle area was at Toyota of Lake City. They wouldn't discuss pricing over phone, but made it obvious there's significant markup. After speaking with a rep at Michael's Toyota of Bellevue, I was told they could get the same truck from another dealer and that it would be avail the following week, so I went in and left my deposit (also had my credit run- my request since I thought it would be there the following week). After waiting and calling over the next few days, I found that they never had that truck and didn't seem able/willing to get it from anywhere else. I've called every dealer in Washington and Portland and been told that it's pretty hard to find this truck (every time one was available online, the dealer would tell me it's pre-sold). Thankfully, one dealer (Beaverton) was helpful and told me about one that was available at Toyota of Vancouver (WA). I was able to leave a deposit on it and am being told it should be ready for delivery around Feb/Mar (no markup). So at this point, I'm either hoping I can find that truck a little sooner or find a 22 TRD Pro (hopefully in MGM) around the same time, but am not holding my breath on either happening. If anyone has recommendations, I'd be super appreciative!

unfortunately no. It’s an automatic. If you’re in Alabama and willing to drive to Georgia, Rick Hendricks Toyota had a handful of manuals when I checked last week.

Originally I was supposed to pick this up Friday. I took the day off and picked it up today and after paperwork was finished I took a drive. Had 4 miles on it when I left the dealership and now has 57. I’m very happy. Started this process in June 21 and it is worth the wait.

2022 Tacoma TRD OR Premium Lunar Rock MT
:bananadance::cheers::kona:Called around to dealers everywhere beginning in September. Everywhere, their stock and allocations were already spoken for. Had been wanting a TRD OR MT lunar rock but finally gave up. On October 9th saw an army green TRD OR online with a MT, called but it was spoken for. Salesman said hold on while he checked for allocations. Came back on the phone a couple minutes later and said he had a TRD OR MT in lunar rock scheduled to be built 10/20/21 that was unspoken for. I jumped on it!
    Temp VIN disappeared 10/23/21
Arrived Port of Portland by ship and unloaded 11/10/21
Left by rail but not sure the date. Was originally given an ETA to dealer by ground 11/22-11/29.
Got a call 11/29 and ETA was changed to 12/02-12/05.
Got a call 12/05 that it had been delayed until 12/07-12/09.
    Today is 12/08 and FINALLY!!!
    Salesman texted me this pic…C14B9881-242B-44DC-ADA3-5E25CCDB1B3B.jpg
