Reasonably priced for me, especially with commodities up. Install isn't awful if you have pairs of hands and willing bodies around.

My mother went through a few when I was younger. :anonymous:

    LOL.

While I could do this…I’m not. The responsibility is on the person who broke it. I’m just trying to work w quality installers.

Oh well then absolutely. I'd say that your range is reasonable there, and get 'er done.

What attachment did you use for the drill? Neither the green or the white came with anything. This it what I had for other disk sanders compared to this disk.

I did not use a drill. The disc is designed to be used with an angle grinder. The disc will screw directly on to a 4.5" angle grinder. Dewalt makes a corded one for purdy cheap if you don't have one.

What’s up dudes? Been a min.

looking to get a smoker pretty quick here. Been thinking Traeger just because they are the big name and have friends that have them. Cushions if you guys have any opinions or what you all like. Is it worth the extra ~$250 or so to get the Bluetooth control on them? Any other brands you like?

thinking I want to do a pellet though, not a char hop smoker (buddy has one and likes it but it is kinda a pain In the ass to fire).

Yeah I would chalk this up in the win column for sure at that price point and getting it done that quick.

Yo homie! I am still using my Traeger I bought off cliff. Still runs like a champ. I havent got to use a BT gauge for it but have heard mixed reviews on them. Hit or miss if they work the entire time. But I am sure that depends on brand aswell. But at the end of the day I would say buy once cry once just like everything else we deal with.

    What's up, man!

I have a Traeger Pro 780 that works pretty damn good...I smoke, grill, and bake on the thing. The bluetooth/wifi is handy so I can monitor from my phone from anywhere. Only thing it doesn't have is "Super Smoke", but it's not really a big deal...just run it at a slightly lower temperature to generate more smoke.

    hey sweet cheeks <3

yeah that’s kinda what I’m thinking, but once cry once. Glad to hear you are still liking it though! I think I just need to pay up and get her done. Good info though man!

    hey man!

that’s the exact one I’m looking at. And I was reading that there isn’t even anything special about the special smoke mode, that’s it’s just a preset low temp? But your logic makes sense. Lower it down for a bit to get that extra flavor. Appreciate the input!

I have 3 Traeger's and love them all. But I did opt out for the fancy wifi and crap as I really never use it. I have a Weber iGrill and another Bluetooh thermometer and hate them all. The issue with the leave in ones is the probe gives incorrect temps from being in the grill the entire time. They seem to be fine at first but over time the probs almost become useless. I ended up getting a digital probe and it works great.

Green Mountain makes another good smoker but they are about the same price as the Traeger. I bought a PitBoss and that was a mistake. Auger kept freezing up and it would stop half way though a cooking session. Ended up selling it.

Yep still loving it and working like a champ....For the most part. I do need to get a blanket for it up here during the winter cause it doesnt get hot enough. But thats on me not on traeger. Go ahead and bite the bullet you wont regret it.....Well other than your wallet and current meat prices.

Forgot to update from my Snowbowl trip Sunday. Snow conditions were actually really good. Went in expecting it to be horrible so I was surprised when it wasnt too crowded and the snow was nice. Just one run open with one chair that gets you from the bottom to 3/4 of the way to the top and then the gondola/chair that gets you all the way up. Weather was super warm, like people in t shirts and sunglasses warm. Looks like that will be changing this week. Colder temps and 8" in the forecast for this Friday.
