No, I had to buy new lugs and TPMS sensors. Kind of a bummer. The Steel wheels use different ones. I guess some tire shops are willing to make steel sensors work on alloy wheels. I didn’t want to risk it.

4runner TPMS will not work on the Tacoma.

Spin the steel TPMS 180 degrees and they work fine in alloys. Just tell the tire shop prior to them dismounting the tire next time or the sensor is likely to get broken.

Decided to finally toss on the snow tires [Blizzak DM-V2 265/70/16], has been mild so far this year. Liking the SR5 wheels I bought for the winter tires better over the black SX wheels it came with. Going to look for another set for when I put the ATs on in the spring.

For anyone doing the leather wrap on their steering wheel, take the sucker off to do it. I couldn’t have imagined getting this done with the wheel installed. I’m not a gymnast. From removal to reinstall took about 2 1/2 hours and I did it watching a movie.

My 2021 SR 4x4 with the bulletproof 2.7L. This is my second 3rd gen I have owned. I have only done minor things so far such as mud flaps and running boards. More plans for the future. Really enjoying this truck!

Ah MGM. My favorite color. Looks good with the black bumper, not welfare like my white one. I really enjoy my base as well, I get a certain amount of pride in knowing its the cheapest 4wd pickup you can buy new (or pretty damn close) and unless it rusts out from under me it'll run for the rest of my life. The base '21s are loaded enough IMO with PW, PDL, PM, cruise, int wipers, and are quite comfortable. Don't GAF about push button start and keyless entry. Could do without the safety nannies but that's the game now.

They are actually 2nd gen access cab boards. Part number PT212-35053. They bolt right up with no issues on third gen access cabs as well.

Completely agree with you! The 2020+ SR is very well equipped for the price.

The base SR has more options than my ‘99 TRD does, and it was considered almost top of the line back then.

My only gripe is not being able to get a manual trans, though I don’t hate the auto. Can drive it like one in Sport mode if I start feeling nostalgic.

Agree 99%. Re the safety nannies though I love the Forward Collision Warning. Deer have caused substantial damage to several of my vehicles over the years. Where I live they're as plentiful as squirrels. The FCW set at high sensitivity has pinned out more than a few of the big lemmings to date & prevented at least one hit. The peripheral coverage is phenomenal. IMHO a valuable tool.

Thought I wouldn’t like it, definitely growing on me, especially handy when the road looks like this. Didn’t have the cruise on, the apply brakes warning came on last night when the vehicle in front of me stopped short. Didn’t know it worked with the adaptive cruise control off.

I am sure all that stuff does grow on you, I seeked out an older model sans TSS and have no regrets as of yet.
