This is good to know. I may look into longer studs. The ones you posted seem to be questionable if you get 1 stud or 10 studs for the price. All the reviewers are saying one stud. Do you know if this is the case for the rear wheels as well? I haven't gotten to that point yet, stopped after I found out the fronts were short.

I may have to go this route until I either get longer studs or longer lug nuts. But it is good to know you run it this way without issues. Do you offroad it like this?

I'm considering this method as well. It may just be easier than replacing studs. Thanks for the link.

 

I'm down for Tahuya. That's my go to but I'd also be interested in other ORVs in the area. I have yet to go to any of the other ORVs.

 

Replacing studs is a royal PITA, even with the special tool to seat them

Keep in mind, those ET lugs might not fit in the spacer holes.

Good catch. My spacers have .54" of space measured with my digital calipers.

It didn't seem like too much of a task based on the videos I've watched about doing it.

This is why I don't think I should run it this way and just go with longer studs.

Do you guys think I'll run into the same issues with the rear studs? Are they the same length as the fronts? Just need to make sure I order enough of the longer studs.

Rear studs are longer. It's only the fronts that are shorties

Also throwing this out there for fun, but if anyone has any 1.75'' or 2'' wheel spacers they don't want and want to go smaller, I have 4 spidertrax 1.25'' spacers I'd trade.

 

I’d be good with Tahuya or walker. It’d be fun to run the trail and NOT blow a brake line this time…

If we do go to walker,for anyone who’s considering coming….sliders, armor, 33” tires minimum and the more lockers the better

Pencil me in for Walker. I was in the top section off a spur rd that took me in there on Saturday and there was about 3” of snow. It’s probably gone now though.

I’m driving down to reedsport Oregon later today and can drop off anywhere on I5 between Lynnwood and Eugene Oregon this afternoon/tonight.

 

Hopefully you didn't pay the dealer's cost to fix it?

 

I was able to talk them down and get it to a somewhat reasonable cost, still a lot more than I would have liked to have paid though
