    Similar specs back when I had 33s.
    Wheels 17x9" XD Holeshot wheels
    Backspace = 4.53"
    Offset = -12mm
    Nitto Ridge Grappler 285/70/17 C-range

    To make them not rub, I had to cut part of my factory mud flaps, fold the pinch weld flat (they cut into the tires when stuffed), and CMC.

    Now
    - 35/12.5/17 Goodyear MTRs C-range
    - LCA bolts pushed far forward as possible.
    - Fender/fender flare trim.
    - CBI bumper trimmed
    - More pinchweld removed.

    Still needs
    - Front Bumpstop lengthened
    - Rear fenders trimmed

    Man truck looks awesome!
    :headbang:
    How’s the fuel mileage with those bad boys?

    Yeah, it’s a bit funny when guys fit 285s and report no rubbing with mudflaps installed and no CMC.

    I have 285/75/16's on our 17' with no rub, no CMC, and no Mudflaps. There is actually plenty of room with TRD pro wheels the rubbing comes in when you start pushing the wheels out with neg offset.

    Thanks. Yeah you can get away with running 285s no rubbing if you dont go over anything other than speed bumps.

    Getting ~17mpg combined on winter blend gas (always goes down). I am regeared to 5.29s though. Drives better than stock.

    Have you cycled your suspension or fully stuffed it?

    Skinny 255s are a different story since they're so narrow. I ran 255/85/16s without rubbing on the CMC except fully stuffed where I rubbed on the pinch weld.

    Yes but not a bunch mainly hunting and camping I don't do recreational offroading anymore. Our hunting road is 3 miles of nasty and I don't remember it rubbing even once but it wasn't stuffed.

    As for gas mileage are's is crap ever since we went from 265's to 285's, 15 -16 from 17-19.
