My dealer said they don’t expect allocation to the southeast until early 2022.

    I guess 4 weeks isn't too bad of a wait .

A dealer near me has 2 showing up on their website as “in transit”. They’re over $42K though, and that’s with no ADM.

All of the dealers I saw had the Trail Edition package mixed in with the Nav and upgraded radio package, which added about 3k more markup. There wasn't an option for just the TE package alone that I saw.

Quoting myself here. Despite everything I said previously about the Trail not being worth the money, I went ahead and put a deposit on one. Army green with the bronze wheels was just too sexy to pass up. I got disgusted with a different dealer I was trying to work with who wanted to tack on a $5K ADM to a regular SR5, making it more than what the Trail cost at the dealer who wasn't charging ADM. So, I'm getting a Trail! It's scheduled to be built the end of January and should be at the dealership by March 1st. The waiting begins...

No. I just put the deposit in a few days ago and it’s not scheduled to be built until the end of January. Did you get a window sticker? What kind of time frame did they give you before yours arrives?

Where abouts are you located? My dealer in Southeast didn’t even offer to let me put down a deposit, they just said they don’t know when they’ll get them…

I’m in Maryland. Trails just started showing up on dealer websites here around the end of November. I haven’t actually seen any on the lot though. My guess is they haven’t been built yet. Mine is scheduled to be built on January 31st.

I'm sure it's in these 23 pages but what suspension does this have for the small lift?

To my knowledge it comes with the new “Toyota TRD lift kit” which I think is 1.5” front and 0.5” back maybe? Similar lift height to the Pro.

The new TRD lift is a 2"/1" with the Bilsteins and 1" block and the Trail Edition is 1.1"/.5" per their website so they're different somehow, just not sure what the Trail Edition has.

I read somewhere (of course I can’t find it now) that the suspension is all the same as the regular SR5, just with a lift.

    So... nothing special...

Headlights are not on the same level as the TRD OR, and it's not quite a pro? Willing to bet this will cost more than the TRD OR too, and if that's the case - regardless if you are keeping it stock or not - then it's not worth it. You are paying for the color scheme and a 6" cubby hole in your bed (which btw, by themselves as add-on are WAY overpriced).

Trying not to be a dick here, but this package seems like a rip-off in a "cool color bro".

And yes, it's the TRD lift, same as the pro's. So, nothing special. I'd love to see what they want for it compared to a Pro and TRD OR, because depending on your plans, this would make no sense as a middle ground to the two. I'd rather go the option that has better lights.
