    Noob question - also because I’m super busy building two trucks, but methanol kits will run off of boost pressure or do you need an afr gauge?

    The methonal kit has a controller that you adjust manually.
    This controller has a start setting that you adjust that is progressive as it goes up.
    You have different size nozzles to pick from for more or less methonal.

    You use these options to fine tune your AFR
    Every truck is different is what it needs depending on the condition of the truck,
    If the fuel pump or injectors or fuel filter are not at 100 percent you wil need more methonal.

    If you have a stand alone haltech you can wire it up for the haltech to do all the controls for you and will adjust the methonal as it monitors the AFR

    Can I get some opinions on the timing and fuel map that's on my 7th injector? I've always had a tuning shop take care of my tune, and I know very little about the tuning process myself. Just out of curiosity I opened up my maps today and compared them to other maps online. What I think I'm seeing is significantly more timing retarding and more fueling than others with similar setups (stock injectors, 2.2 pulley, jba headers). Is this true or am I missing something? Also, with the software settings set at 3 cylinder 2 stoke like the URD U-tune pdf recommends, I'm finding parts of the injector duty cycle over 50%. When in 2 stoke mode this equals more than 100% duty cycle right?

    Wow. I’m at sea level in a hot climate and I’m not pulling any timing. The fuel map is wild.

    out of curiosity, if you have a OBD2 reader and watch it while WOT what does your timing advance look like?

    The tuner clearly didn’t read the directions. Any tuner should know not to go past 80% duty cycle. And yes. You take that number and double it.

    My base maps looked nothing like that. Timing was being pulled from ~1 degree per psi of boost.

    enrichment starts at 3psi

    Fueling in map B starts at 4psi and 3k rpm at 1.1ms and increases with boost.

    The base map I got, the base map SS sent me, and the base maps ive seen posted numerous times on forums were all the same and mirrored mine.

    not sure what you got…

    Got my supercharger back from Jon Bond and the old parts that high speed lab screwed up after HSL rebuild.

    This is what the rotors look like after less than one year with the coating all coming off and the spindles ground down by them making the rotors useless,
    And the bypass bearing shot and the bypass butterfly shot too.
    Just poor work, end of story for me with him after paying him 1500 for this rebuild with less than a years worth of driving

    No I didn’t, what for? The nose seal and snout were messed up by them before The supercharger even was running leaking oil, that cost me = new snout 400.00 plus the work that Jon Bond did 2000.00 to fix HSL crap work.
    So bottom line it cost me 2500 to get my supercharger repaired from the poor work done a year ago.
    I’m not having HSL touch my supercharger again

    Correct, my experience with Jon Bond is great so far, Jon Bond gives you a complete break down of every part on the supercharger for condition and wear, HSL was a bad deal and no spread sheet of any details of what was repaired.
