@monkeyevil one of the reviews on the website says that after he installed it the hood sat higher on one side than the other. Have you noticed that issue? Maybe the guy installed it wrong?

Also. Can you lift the hood without the nmo section hitting the wiper or the windshield? If I gotta pull the antenna off to lift the hood that is fine. I just dont wanna have to deal with the NMO mount slamming again the windshield.

No, the hood still is level. The bracket goes beneath the hood hinge, not between it and the hood. Maybe they were confused about the install? I will have CS reach out to them. No clearance issues with an NMO and the windshield, wiper, etc...

I was nervous about the lead time on the product so I bought an NMO mount from Amazon to realize that the way the quarter panels are developed... I cant use it. It puts the antenna on like a 30 to 40 degree angle a looks like poop.

One of the representatives from the company got back to me and said that it is usually in stock. I just bought it. Hopefully it comes by the end of this week. Taking a long trip on Sunday and hoping to have some comms up before the trip.

Thanks for the response! And I am happy this option exists. Its the only way that I see fit to mount an NMO antenna ono the front of the truck.

Wonder if this will work with the midland ghost antenna? It’s thicker in diameter
