All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I can go check it out. I have driven down this many times. Not as of recent.

That one is on my bucket list. I did a week in pisgah in Nov 2019 and didn't even realize it was a trail until I saw it on YouTube. Some good camping spots on the north end . I hit it just right with the fall colors!!

It's finals... my brains not working well either.
@3pooches I remember you saying you had something that showed recommended shim stacks for for different weights. I'm gonna do the flutter stack (or maybe even a double flutter if I get fancy) but am having trouble finding anything that gives recommendations for a specific weight. Looking to get a general guide then play with it...I'm thinking the worst possible outcome is a shim breaks and seriously messes up the internals, blows a seal and the truck lands on its rear bump stops. Best outcome my paper weights become fantastic shocks hah.

Let me try to find it. Some one posted a couple starting setups on pirate4x4. What are the specs on the shocks?

Thanks for that! Looks like he has the same shim sheet I found. I can’t seem to find anything from Fox that shows how the # relates to weight. I’m thinking I might pick a # and then move the washers around versus trying pick individual shims. FE46A09B-2A08-42C7-B546-628F51AE0F63.jpg

I’d say make slight changes to your current setup to dial it in. If they need to be softer add a flutter to the compression and see how it feels.

ohhh I might be in for the 18th. Thats my first free weekend and I'm debating hiking to AOAA to meet up with some guys I met when I lived in MD for a bit, but I also don't want to drive 5hrs lol

just to add to the sway bar stuff for funzies, I notice both the front and rear are gone pretty much all the time but its not like aweful to drive or anything. I actually find it fun and have pushed it enough on off/on ramps to know whats sketchy and whats not lol. Best part is probably the reaction of friends that aren't as into cars after making an intentionally hard turn lol

Freaking cute dog, it’s gotta have some Aussie/heeler/collie in it right?

Lol, it’s a pitty pup. My gf got the dog so, I am not exactly sure. I believe it’s a straight up pocket pitty that has those markings…you don’t see those colors very often on a pit bull.

Yeah that was a nice one that stayed intact. I have pulled one twice as big out of a shrub at a clients house. Suited up for that one :)
