    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
Had some good sunlight/weather today. So we decided to switch gears and paint some shit.

And when we mounted the new rack, I noticed the roof was hammered. Clear coat was pretty much gone, and I was down to primer in spots.

Looks good. Now there is something straight on the truck again. What product did you use? Rattle can? Will be interesting to hear how it holds up.

@Whitebutler or anyone else up in the Redding area...

Would anyone be available to pick up a set of leaf springs in Redding?

After this last fire its been tough to get weekend time to drive. I wouldn't mind if I get to Redding this weekend I'll check plans with the wife and work schedule. I'll let you know.

I binge watched For All Mankind on Apple TV+. It's a series that takes the history of the space program starting with Apollo and re-writes it using actual footage and some video trickery to play "what if". You get women in the space program as both astronauts and management, moon base and mining. Drama with the Russians, Apollo/Soyuz docking. All that in a mix of historical twists.

I thought it was pretty well done though maybe not something that deserved as many episodes. Would recommend.

Figured I’d ask here since I’m not sure where else to go.

I’m heading down to Benicia before Christmas to pick up some sliders and my vagabond drifter camper after a very long wait. Anyone with a garage / open space I could use temporarily to install the sliders? I’d rather not haul them in the bed all the way back to WA and get them on while down there.

I have all the necessary tools so really only need the space...a second set of hands would be nice but not required. Trying to avoid the scenario where I install these in a Walmart parking lot or something lol.

Feel free to DM if you can help. Happy to incentivize with beer if need be.

You’re more than welcome to come to my place, but I’m nearly to Lake Tahoe. But if everything else falls through, I’m game. Just for reference, I live in Camino, CA. From Benicia I’m at least two hours away. Maybe more.
