    A good friend of mines uncle was a navigator on B-29’s during the fire bombings of Japan. His plane was hit by flak and crashed. All but 4 died. My buddy googles about the crash and came across this article, which is his uncles plane:

    He emailed the writer and found out he was working on a documentary on it. The show is on tonight on NHK station at 7 eastern. It is titled “The Fallen Fortress”. Ought to be a good show

    was your buddy able to contribute at all and pass on his uncle's side of the story? or was the production of the show passed that point?

    He and his mom did zoom in with the writer but, the documentary was already in editing stages. He had just found the article about 2 months ago.
