You buy something from Boeing and that’s the last anyone sees of your money.

I've worked with a couple ex Boeing employees. They said it was the easiest job ever... No stress, no rushing to get things done, no yelling when you fuck up. Just get in and try not to get noticed for 30 years so you can collect a pension.

Yup, and like you I'd love to share some pictures but don't want to lose my job or worse. I got some somewhere of some rocket engine bells I made for SpaceX and ULA. But that whole itar thing is enough to scare me a lil

To take the moving map relation to old James Bond movies a bit further: Keyhole, later bought and renamed to Google Maps, was funded by IQT (the CIA venture capital arm). The Q in IQT calls upon Q of the James Bond movies as the arm has similar goals. The IQT DC tech demonstrator bldg. had a big Google-like map you could drag with your hand back when this was still a big deal, and was a point of pride for them. All public info.

I can appreciate that. I’m ambivalent about it all. I think there’s more parity overall :notsure:

No but you’ll hear similar chatter regardless of orientation. That particular “off topic” will never go away. If it does we’re done for. Often what makes something appropriate or not has nothing to do with “what” is said but to whom and where. Now back to spaceship docking methods.
