A former coworker was telling me about a HD he purchased back when AMF was somehow owner or something. Anyways he said by the time he got it home from the dealer and looking it over...he said he could see where weld slag was painted right over...I don't know if it's true or not but gosh dang man..no wonder they had a bad reputation for a time. They've come a long ways....at least my '07 Never leaked a drop of oil.

The AMF bikes were terrible.
And Harley did get a helluva lot better.

 

Well, I'm guessing you could pick just a single one up locally pretty cheap considering that 10 pack is 12 something.

Sporties handle very well indeed, but to an old guy like me, the power and acceleration is astounding.
And to think the Kawasaki propaganda claimed 50 odd horsepower for my Vulcan...pitiful

But if you just wanna cruise, a lazy turning V-twin is hard to beat.
Nice wide power band in each gear.
And then there's the aftermarket pipes.
