    Specifically a Yamaha Grizzly 700.

I think it's not just too long but also too wide. Anyone do it though? Pics?

I've done it many of times with a 19 Kodiak 450 and 420 Honda rancher. How much bigger is the 700?

I put my Raptor 660 in the bed once. Then went and bought a trailer at Home Depot. Too much a PITA.

I've put an 02 Eiger 400 4x4 as well as a 17 foreman 500 4x4. They both fit, but the foreman bumper makes contact with the back glass before it hits the front of the bed so I didn't actually haul it. I stuck the Suzuki in the bed (it's not lifted as much and doesn't do what the Honda did with the back glass) and put my foreman on my lil 5x8 trailer.

I hauled a Yamaha big bear 350 in the bed before I got a trailer. It’s a tight fit width wise so I’m not sure a 700 would fit. Especially since the grizzlies are normally stanced a little wider than some of the other utility atvs

I know this does not answer the question, but it's amazing what you can do with a small trailer...7-1/2 hours each way.

My cousin asked this same question when he saw my new Tacoma. He has a first gen Tundra that is getting a bit long in the tooth and was looking at getting a Tacoma to replace it. His Honda Rancher has to go in the bed though. He has a Kubota tractor that has to be on a trailer when he goes back and forth between his home and his hunting land about an hour away.

If he ends up going with a short bed taco then he needs to make sure his trailer has a stowable tongue jack. The tailgate will have to be down to haul just about any fullsize wheeler...

my 2007 rancher just fits between the wheel wells and it is 46 inches wide with stock size tires the newer grizzlies are 48 inches wide I believe so it would be tight if you were able to do it

Has anybody attempted to fit an ATV on a Diamondback HD bed cover? I'm wanting to get a Can Am Renegade, but I know it won't fit in the bed.

700xx front wheels rub the wheel wells. The tailgate closes on my long bed.

I have a 2021 short box and I can squeeze my 750 Suzuki king quad in there. But I do know the grizzly is wider. A friend of mine has a 2016 long box and he fits his grizzly 700 in his truck but one of the front tires has to ride over the wheel well in the box. Not ideal but it does work. He later built a wood platform between the wheel wells in the box so the grizz could ride up on both and be level. Here is my truck:IMG_6375.jpg

Not a 700 but here’s my 300ex in my SB Taco with the tailgate down. I think my 450R is too wide though I’ve not tried hauling it back there.

I second what others are saying, look into getting a trailer. U-haul rents one which is large enough for one ATV for something like $50 for a couple of days. That was several years ago though, I’m not sure what they’re renting for now.

No to the trailer. If I was willing to tow a trailer I'd probably be driving a 4R.

Thanks for the replies guys. I like the idea about the wooden ramp between the wheel wells. I guess the only concerns are the weight on the tailgate and the possibility of hitting the glass with the front of the quad.

I was concerned about the same things, so I installed a Back Rack and also bought a piece of 2' X 4' 3/4" thick plywood and laid it between the tailgate and the box to spread out the load of the rear tires on the bike. I have hauled the bike long distances 4 or 5 times with no issues so far. Hope this helps
